Cloud Computing

Quality in a service or product is not what you put into it. It is what the client or customer gets out of it.

What is a Cloud Computing?

Cloud computing also known as distributed computing over computer network is the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.

Types of Cloud computing.

A Cloud can be of two types public and private. Service provided by public cloud computing model is in a virtualised environment. This virtualised environment is created using pooled of shared resources which is accessible over internet. Public cloud computing service providers provide these services on a pay-per-usage model or freely. Private cloud computing is similar to public cloud computing but the service is provided to only specified clients or for internal to an organization use only.

Services of Cloud computing.

Cloud computing service providers offer services according to several fundamental models:

  • Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
  • Platform as a service (PaaS)
  • Software as a service (SaaS)

IaaS clouds is delivered as a service, which refers to providing access to collections of computing infrastructure as a virtualised computer resource across a network connection. These services are storage space, virtualised server space, network connections and IP addresses etc.

PaaS clouds provides a computing platform as a service, which includes operating system, programming or runtime environment, web server, database server. Application developers develops and excute their applications in the environment provided by the service provider.

SaaS clouds provides access to collections of application software programs. Service provider maintans the infrastructure and platforms that run the applications.

What can we do for you!

We provide technical support to setup and maintain your own cloud computing infrastructure using Eucalyptus open-source, which is compatible to Amazon Web Services (AWS) private computing environments. We can also provide our services to setup hybrid computing environment.

Benefits of Cloud Computing

  • Cloud computing eliminates the need for each user to procure stand-alone servers or software.
  • Services provided by Cloud computing are typically pay as you use, therefore no need for capital investment at all.
  • Cloud computing can allow an employe to be more flexible in their work pculture.
  • By adopting cloud computing an organization can focus on innovation, as they do not have to own or manage resources.
